Sensory-Friendly Day (Nov. 2024)

Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 | 2-5 p.m. Main Gallery and Exhibit Hall

Guests with sensory sensitivities are welcome to explore the Museum and Memorial in a calm, low-stimulating environment in a special three-hour period while the Museum and Memorial is closed on Monday. Enjoy the Main Gallery and an optional, sensory-friendly hands-on history activity, as well as the opportunity to visit the Featured Exhibition The Little War.

  • Other spaces, including the Liberty Memorial Tower, Wylie Gallery and the Bergman Family Gallery and Lower Level, will remain closed until normal operating hours resume on Tuesday at 10 a.m. 

 

Designated quiet areas are accessible throughout the building and a limited number of noise-canceling headphones and fidget tools are available upon request.
