The Mapping Imagined Geographies of Revolutionary Russia (MAPRR) creates a map of Russians’ sense of place-based identity and transformation through the tumultuous period between 1914 and 1922 using literature of the time. The writings of major writers and ordinary Russians alike serve as a powerful reflection of this transformative period in Russian history.
