When Fan Festival is OPEN:

A single all-access ticket will be available for all areas of the Museum except Liberty Memorial Tower. This special Museum ticket can additionally be redeemed for a pass to Fan Festival.

Online: Purchase before your visit

In person: Purchase at one of the Museum and Memorial ticketing booths at the South or Northwest gates.

When you arrive at one of the Museum and Memorial ticketing booths at the South or Northwest gates, you may:

  • Show a printout of your pre-purchased ticket.
  • Show a PDF or screenshot of your pre-purchased ticket on a device like a phone or tablet.
  • Purchase a Museum ticket at the booth.

Museum staff will redeem your ticket for a Fan Festival pass that will be scanned at a separate Fan Festival security checkpoint. The Fan Festival pass is only good for the same day as your Museum ticket.

When Fan Festival is CLOSED:

The normal range of ticket types and prices will be available, including for Liberty Memorial Tower.

Parking / Transportation

 

There is no parking anywhere on the grounds. 

Due to expected large crowds, traffic (including foot traffic) will be heavy. Please plan for extra time and dress for the weather.

Suggested parking and transportation alternatives:

Take the streetcar to the Union Station stop, then walk to the Northwest gate at the intersection of Pershing Rd. and Kessler Rd.

or

Take the streetcar to the WWI Museum & Memorial stop, then walk to the South gate on Memorial Dr.

Plan your trip with Union Station as the destination, then walk to the Northwest gate at the intersection of Pershing Rd. and Kessler Rd.

or

Plan your trip with Liberty Memorial as the destination, then walk to the South gate on Memorial Dr.

Rideshare and taxi service is restricted in the area around Fan Festival. Please refer to KC2026 for more information (coming soon)

This is a motorcoach bus service offered during FIFA World Cup 26™ (June 11-July 13, 2026), connecting riders between FIFA Fan Festival™ and 15 regional sites.

Getting onto the Grounds

Guests enter at the Northwest gate at Pershing Rd. and Kessler Rd.

Guests can enter at the South gate on Memorial Dr.

Guests for both the Museum and Memorial and Fan Festival must proceed through a Fan Festival security checkpoint to enter the grounds. Clear bag policies apply. See Security Screening information

 

ADA/Mobility Access

ADA/Mobility Access shuttles run every 10-15 minutes on a loop.

Pick-up: Northwest entrance at Pershing Rd. and Kessler Rd.

Drop-off: West Visitors Lot

Running hours: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Priority is given to Museum and Memorial visitors with mobility access needs. Guests accompanying a visitor with ADA needs may need to reunite at the West Visitors Lot.

Security Screening

 

Guests must pass through security checkpoints both when Fan Festival is open and when it is closed.

FIFA Fan Festival™ Kansas City will have a fenced perimeter, and all guests will be subject to security screening protocols including metal detectors and a clear bag policy.

Clear bags at or below the dimensions of 12″ x 6″ x 12” are permitted, as are diaper bags and medical-related bags. Non-clear bags at or below 4.5” x 6.5” are permitted. All bags are subject to search upon entry. There will not be storage services for declined bags.

Empty, refillable water bottles are permitted. Metal and glass water bottles are not permitted.

Food and drink items are not permitted, unless required for medical purposes. Any permitted food items must not be packaged in glass containers.

Prohibited Weapons and Dangerous Items

  • Firearms, knives, bladed weapons, ammunition or components of guns
  • Explosives, fireworks, flares, smoke bombs, compressed liquids
  • Pepper spray, tasers, martial arts weapons
  • Chains, metal rods, poles over 1 meter
  • Projectiles, lighters, bottles, helmets or hard hats
  • Work tools of any kind
  • Body protection gear or corsets (other than medical corsets)
  • Any other object which could be in the opinion of event organizers considered a weapon

Prohibited Bags and Containers

  • Backpacks and large bags (only clear bags 12” x 6” x 12” or small non-clear bags 4.5” x 6.5” are permitted)
  • Hard-sided bags or luggage
  • Opaque containers

Prohibited Recording and Communication

  • Professional cameras with detachable lenses
  • Tripods, selfie sticks, GoPro mounts
  • Drones and aerial devices
  • Laser pointers

Prohibited Noise Producing Devices

  • Vuvuzelas, airhorns, megaphones
  • Unauthorized musical instruments
  • Whistles

Prohibited Beverages and Substances

  • Glass bottles and containers
  • Metal bottles
  • Liquids over 100ml (except plastic bottles for refill)
  • Illegal drugs and substances
  • Outside food, drink, or alcohol (venue-purchased items only)
  • Flammable substances, large permanent markers

Other Prohibited Items

  • Umbrellas
  • Banners/flags larger than 1.5m x 2m
  • Political or offensive language
  • Animals (except service animals requiring only verbal confirmation)
  • Sports equipment including inflatable balls, kites, frisbees or darts
  • Bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards or scooters

Exceptions to FIFA Fan Festival Code of Conduct Prohibited Items:

  • Strollers, after inspection for prohibited items, will be permitted
  • Prescription drugs will be permitted
