World War I created challenges in the field of medicine that have informed innovation ever since. Teachers, join the Museum and Memorial for a half-day workshop exploring how to teach students about the enduring medical lessons of the Great War.

Using primary resources from the collection, along with exploration of new interpretation within the Main Gallery, a Museum and Memorial educator will provide guidance for using primary resources to teach enduring impacts.

Registration includes:

  • A new ready-to-use lesson
  • Admission to the Museum and Memorial
  • Interaction with real WWI artifacts
  • Peer collaboration

A four-hour PL Certificate will be provided digitally upon completion of the workshop and a grant-enabling survey.
