Sip and Stretch (July 2024)

Saturday, July 20 - 8:45 a.m. Memorial Courtyard

While imprisoned in Great Britain for nearly four years because of his citizenship, Joseph Pilates created a new exercise system – now popularly known by his surname. Bring a mat and a friend for a low-impact regimen with the Kansas City Ballet that develops core strength and flexibility for any level of fitness. While you're stretching out, enjoy free cold-pressed juice from Ruby Jean’s Juicery. Afterwards, take in the view of the skyline sunrise from the top of the Liberty Memorial Tower.

Pilates starts at 8:45 a.m. Tower opens at 9:45 a.m.

In case of inclement weather, the program will move indoors to the Paul Sunderland Glass Bridge.
