Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2024 | 6:30 p.m. Central Zoom Conference

Numerous organizations offered endorsements and gifts to Sgt. Alvin C. York upon his return to the United States, including the Nashville Rotary Club. Initiating a fundraiser to purchase a farm and build a house on his behalf, the Club collected contributions from across the nation. In 1922, York received the deed to his farm in Pall Mall, Tennessee, where he lived until his death. Today, the property is managed as a Tennessee State Historic Park. Amble through the Cumberland Plateau with Park staff to explore York’s home after the war.
