Celebrating contemporary Francophone cinema, Alliance Française de Kansas City's debut French Film Festival highlights creative voices from across the French-speaking world. With the theme “Ce qui nous unit” (“That Which Unites Us”) each of the six full-length features and six short films will invite audiences to reflect on stories and experiences that bring people together.
Join us in the Museum and Memorial's auditorium for the Festival's final screening, featuring the 2004 award-winning film “A Very Long Engagement” (“Un long dimanche de fiançailles”).
Set against the backdrop of World War I, “A Very Long Engagement” (“Un long dimanche de fiançailles”) is a sweeping, visually stunning romantic drama starring Audrey Tautou and Gaspard Ulliel.
