The NFL Draft Experience will take place on the south side of the National WWI Museum and Memorial, featuring interactive exhibits, autograph sessions, photo opportunities with the Vince Lombardi Trophy and more.

Museum Entry Tickets

 

Summary:

To visit the Museum and Memorial on April 27-29, all guests (including Museum Members) will need two entry passes:

  1. Entry pass to the grounds through the NFL OnePass app (free)
  2. Museum General Admission ticket ($20)

  • The Museum and Memorial will be OPEN to the public during the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light. However, guests must pass through the 2023 NFL Draft event entry and security screening process to access the grounds.

  • Entry information, maps and security procedures will be posted on nfl.com/draft/event-info in the days leading up to the event and will be available in the NFL OnePass app.

  • To enter the Museum and Memorial, you will need to first access the grounds via the above instructions. Main Entry 1, located at the intersection of Wyandotte St. and Memorial Drive on the south side of the Museum and Memorial, is the Main Entry for all visitors to access the grounds.

  • General Admission tickets are available in-person at the door ONLY.

  • Museum Members will need to purchase General Admission tickets as well.

  • A General Admission ticket will give you access to: restrooms, the Museum Store and Café and Museum and Memorial exhibitions.

  • When you purchase a General Admission ticket, you will be given a wristband that will allow you to enter and exit the Museum and Memorial throughout the day.

  • To enter the Museum and Memorial, you will need to purchase a new GA ticket for each day you want to attend during the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light.

Traffic and Parking Updates

Parking

Due to construction for the 2023 NFL Draft, visitor parking locations will change throughout the month.

 

May 2-5

Visitor parking reopens on the Southwest Lawn. Enter the grounds via 31st and Wyandotte

May 6-9

U-shaped Drive reopens (ADA parking and regular visitor parking). Overflow parking available on the Southeast Lawn.

May 10

West Visitor Lot reopens for regular overflow parking.

 

 

Road Closure and Construction

 

From April 2 – May 7, Westbound Pershing Road will be closed between Broadway Street and Main Street. Access to and from Union Station and Union Station’s West Yard Garage remain open via Broadway Boulevard to Pershing Road.

From April 10 – May 7, the following road closures will be in effect:

  • Main Street between 20th Street and Grand Boulevard.
  • Pershing Road (both directions) between Broadway Street and Grand Boulevard.
  • Kessler Road between Pershing Road and Wyandotte Street.
  • Memorial Drive
  • OK Street (Union Station)

From April 10–25 and April 30 – May 7 there will be one-way public access from:

  • Broadway Boulevard to Eastbound Pershing Road and Southbound Kessler Road to Wyandotte Street.
  • Northbound Main Street to Eastbound Pershing Road.

Construction of the Draft Theater, which will be built in front of the iconic Union Station, begins on April 2 and is anticipated to take two weeks. This primarily impacts the South Plaza Parking Lots of Union Station.

On April 10, the NFL Draft Experience buildout starts on the grounds of the National WWI Museum and Memorial.

Additional dates:

  • April 17 – 20: NFL takes occupancy of portions of Union Station’s interior, non-ticketed spaces.
  • April 23: NFL Draft Experience activation load-in on south side of National WWI Museum and Memorial.

Please note: National WWI Museum and Memorial employees and guests will have access to Kessler Road and Memorial Drive to reach parking lots while road closures are in effect. Additionally, Union Station attractions, restaurants, retail, and tenant offices remain open leading up to April 27th activations.

Entertaining the Troops gives a peek into the life of a WWI soldier beyond the battlefield, whether they were waiting for the enemies’ next move or partying in Paris.

Inter-Allied Games

Held from June 22 – July 6, 1919 outside of Paris near the site of the 1900 Olympics, the Inter-Allied Games featured hundreds of male athletes from nations across the world aligned with the Allies during World War I competing in 13 sports. During the course of the completion, more than 500,000 spectators witnessed some of the globe’s best athletes – past, present and future.
