We are proud to announce an exciting upgrade to the exterior of our building and grounds.


The Walk of Honor bricks on the south side of the Museum and Memorial were moved from the apron and re-laid on the East and West walkways around the U-Shaped Drive and Liberty Memorial Mall. This will prevent excessive wear-and-tear, improve ADA accessibility and enable loved ones to find their bricks more easily.

The more than 10,000 Walk of Honor bricks will now be better preserved for generations to come, including future bricks that can now be laid in the extended length of the Walk of Honor – as envisioned in the original design of the project.

Leave a lasting impression by purchasing an inscribed granite brick, which will be installed in the Walk of Honor along the East and West walkways around the U-Shaped Drive and Liberty Memorial Mall.

The Walk of Honor includes bricks dedicated to those who served in World War I, to veterans of any military service and bricks honoring civilian friends, family or organizations.

Walk of Honor bricks are dedicated on Memorial Day.

The deadline for ordering bricks is March 1. Any bricks purchased after March 1 will be dedicated on Memorial Day of the next year.
